Windows 10 Unable to join domain showing error
Error while accessing shared network folders on Windows 10
While trying to join the domain, the newly installed Windows 10 showing following error,
--------------------------- Computer Name/Domain Changes --------------------------- The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "domain.com": You can't connect to the file share because it's not secure. This share requires the obsolete SMB1 protocol, which is unsafe and could expose your system to attack. Your system requires SMB2 or higher. For more info on resolving this issue, see: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=852747 --------------------------- OK ---------------------------
To resolve the above mentioned issue,
Go to Control Panel
Press "Windows Key" + R Type Control and Press Enter
Click on “Programs and Features”
Click on “Turn Windows Features on or off”
Scroll down to “SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support”

Select “SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support” and Make sure all its sub components are selected
Click Ok
After Completing the installation of the selected feature Reboot the System.
Now you can access the shared folders and can join the domain.
