Upgrade Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 – Need to configure Ms Outlook to point to new Server ???

Hi All,

Quick questions about deploying Exchange 2010 in coexistence mode with Exchange 2007.

We apply an outlook profile for all our users. The Outlook profile currently points to our Exchange 2007. When I install Exchange 2010 will the profile need to be updated to point to Exchange 2010?

Thanks

The Answers is.

No need to update your Outlook Profile once you move your mailbox from Exchange 2007 mailbox to exchange 2010 mailbox, it will intimate the user to restart the MS Outlook then it will point to Exchange 2010 automatically.

Outlook connectivity is the responsibility of Exchange 2010 CAS Role.
